In an area which has such a strong focus on agriculture, you can certainly expect good food. Would you like to try regional products, taken directly from the polder ground? Many of our restaurants prefer using them in their kitchens. Or you can just enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink. We have cosy terraces at many places where you are welcome to pull up a chair.
From regional products along the road to large farm shops where you can shop for locally grown products, the Noordoostpolder is permeated by the farming life. You can taste that at Landwinkel Versluis, Renne Streekproducten, Farmshop Verhage Fruit, Wijngaard & Farmshop Maronesse and the Farmshop of Vink Fruitboerderij. Don’t overlook the stands and vegetable and fruit vending machines along the roads.
Time for something to eat? We have different kinds of restaurants in the Noordoostpolder for you to try. In Emmeloord, for example, there is ’t Voorhuys, Eindeloos, Le Mirage or Chillers.
